A wooden box rests at the end of the street. Every February, people can drop in their deepest thought. Whether people use the month to finally profess their grand love or share their darkest secret, the box is open for anyone to confide in.
A mime, who is typically one of few words, decides to venture to the box to write down his feelings for the balloon sculptor who lives across the street. After expressing his thoughts in pen, he gains the courage to buy a colorful bouquet of flowers to leave at her door.
A young man walks to the box to confess how he may have claimed he was a few years younger in order to get a free ticket to a magic show. To be fair, he was willing to do anything for the awesome tricks! Writing it down really alleviates the guilt, though.
Finally, a girl with her face decorated with vibrant colors skips over to place her confession. She wants to thank the face painter who lifted her spirits when she felt down. That woman made her feel like a fairy for the day. Sometimes, putting our gratitude on paper is the best form of communication, even if it’s anonymous.
