Paula is an award-winning artist proudly serving the Tampa Bay and Orlando Florida areas. Less comic in context and more realistic in style, her caricatures are more like elegant six-minute portraits. They provide guests not only a remembrance of the day, but an heirloom to cherish.
When she first started doing caricatures professionally, she realized that the talents that won her awards for portraits in Columbus, Atlanta and Tampa were in direct conflict with the exaggerations and distortions necessary to comic caricatures. After deciding to go with her skills instead of against them, she developed what she liked to call "QuickPortraits;" a tasteful ink likeness in under 8 minutes.
At first she thought that she couldn't really call herself a caricaturist, but the event planning companies kept calling and the clients kept raving and compliments poured in. So it dawned upon her that she must be doing something right. Apparently drawings that make people look good rather than silly; compliment rather than parody, make for happy customers.

- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
