Motley the Pirate - Unusual Characters
Paula T., a.k.a. Motley the Pirate, started out in Renaissance Festivals when she was just 18 years old and went on to perform in Florida, New York, Colorado, and Texas. She has been a singer, actor, and stage combatant, though as of yet, she does not joust or juggle. She's found the improvisational theater style she learned there a great asset to her party and event work. Those skills, along with perfecting regional accents and great costuming, make for events to remember.
She regularly worked at Tampa Bay Buccaneers games at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and has performed her Motley the Pirate show in Pirate themed festivals in New York and Florida.

Options:
Strolling: Motley the Pirate speaks in a skillful rural English accent and sea dog dialect. She can twist balloons, interact with the audience members, tell jokes and add color to any event. A LOT of color. Face painting, caricatures and henna can also be done, from a table.
Stage Show: Motley the Pirate, a colorful character to say the least, sports a rainbow of brightly colored clothing and beads, including necktie pantaloons and the crazy quilt frock coat. Your eyes may ache, but your ears will love her singing and drumming! Kids love Pirates and parents love learning. Motley's pirate themed, historical, interactive musical children's show makes everyone smile. There is a short question and answer about what it was like to be an ordinary pirate or sailor in the 18th and 19th century, followed by a period song about that subject with songs about everything from what sailors ate, what they did in their spare time, to missing their families. The show is 45 minutes long.
Rates
Strolling: $180/hr with a two hour minimum.*
Rates are per entertainer.
Stage Show: $300 for the show description outlined above.*
