Karen J is one of our Digital Caricature Artists in Rockville:
In 1990 Karen got a summer job while studying at the Columbus College of Art and Design to draw at Cedar Point Amusement Park. She has been doing caricatures ever since. Through the years, she has done caricatures at art festivals in Ohio, retail in malls at Christmas in the DC area, four summers at Myrtle Beach, winter in Miami Beach and resorts in the Dominican Republic. For many years she had a full-time job as a decorative painter and just doing caricatures on weekends at parties. When she became a mom, that became too much work so she began just doing caricature party/event work. Over the years, the caricature work has expanded into a full-time thing which still allows her to be Mommy, taxi, and take care of her rescue dogs.

- Digital Caricature Rate: $270/hour, with a 3 hour minimum.
