The way Lou got into caricature is simple: he needed work. He’s drawn pretty much his whole life. Ever since he was a kid in California he can remember carrying a sketchbook around. Fast forward to his stint in the Navy when he was stationed in California and, after getting out, moved to Washington state. He had a government job for awhile but when the contract ran out, he couldn't find work. His brother, who’s a well-known musician in the area, had a lot of contacts at talent agencies. He told Lou if he could learn caricatures, he would help get him started. So, he got everything he could get his hands on regarding caricatures and did some intense self-studying. After teaching himself the basics, he had his first gig… and he has never looked back since. He things being a caricature artist is the best job in the world!

Traditional Caricatures:- B&W Heads Only: 25-30 people per hour
- B&W Body / Gag: 24-28 people per hour
- Color Heads Only: 21-25 people per hour
- Color Body / Gag: 20-23 people per hour
Rates
- $185/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
