1. Describe the type of entertainment you provide.
2. When and how did you get into this business?
In 2003, I worked at Discount Tire, and put up a sign in my cube saying that I did face painting. I painted at my co-workers’ parties and at the Discount Tire spring picnic.
In 2014, I was trying to get better at caricatures, when I met [caricature artist] Chris C. at an event. He introduced me to some artists and showed me some tricks. I’ve been working very hard to get better at them ever since!
3. What is the most memorable event you have ever worked at?
Once, I worked digital caricatures for four days at an animal testing convention. I got to talk to the scientists that test the animals. I asked one guy that tested cancer drugs on rats, “So, how are you able to just turn cancer on in an animal?” I hope, one day, they can turn it off.
4. What is one thing you’d like everyone to know about you?
I work so hard to be as perfect and as fast as I can. I like my face painting to be as clean as humanly possible. With my caricatures I find that getting the likeness is the most rewarding part of drawing these beautiful folks, and I’ll do my best to get a likeness in a gorgeous drawing that people can keep for years to come!
