Svetlana N - Texas Digital Caricature Artists

Svetlana is an Austin based professional artist and illustrator who is versatile in multiple mediums, including digital media. Born and raised in Russia, she moved to the US at the age of 19 to pursue education and her dreams. She received Fine Art and Business degrees from the University of Maine, and has been working as a professional artist for over twenty years, specializing in impressionism, figurative work, and animal portraiture. Her artwork has been featured in several publications including Artist’s magazine, Southwest Art magazine and Austin Woman magazine. She’s done hundreds of commissions, including a custom artwork for Texas Governor’s Mansion. She’s also been teaching art in private schools and conducting Art workshops.

Svetlana was always fascinated with caricatures and cartooning! Ten years ago, she was introduced to the world of live event caricatures by a fellow artist, and her life hasn’t been the same since. She loves personal interaction with people when drawing them at the events. Svetlana is personable, and her style is fast and fun. She uses her artistic skills to capture people’s likeness and personalities quickly and in a whimsical way.
