Steve S is one of our Caricature Artists in Baton Rouge:
Steve S loves drawing people! He discovered his talent for capturing likenesses in the eighth grade and continued drawing family and friends throughout high school. Steve earned his Associate's degree in advertising design at the Art Institute of Houston. He’s been a freelance illustrator for over 25 years, providing art for local and national clients including Movieline and Sports Illustrated Kids magazines.
After drawing party caricatures at an art director’s Christmas party, Steve’s reputation spread, and soon, he was being hired for events on a regular basis. A member of the Louisiana Art & Artist's Guild, Steve teaches drawing and painting courses at its Baton Rouge facility. He continues to freelance from his home-based studio.
