Steve D - Oregon Caricature Artists

Steve D was born January 25, 1972, and began drawing faces from the time he could grip a crayon. Growing up in Central Texas, Steve earned recognition and awards and even appeared on local television and newspapers for his talents. Following graduation from High School, Steve attended Texas State Technical College, where he studied Commercial Art & Advertising.

After years of professional wandering, Steve decided to work full-time pursuing art and caricatures and soon discovered the National Caricature Network (NCN). Over the past several years Steve has produced various studio pieces from a DVD cover, to celebrities, to commissioned gifts, and also creating over 40 unique pieces displayed at “Face Value – Oregonians in Caricature,” an art show organized in-part by Steve. He also works a great deal with live caricature at festivals, corporate events, graduation parties and even birthday parties for 3 to 80 year olds.

Steve specializes in drawing live at festivals, corporate and private events, and graduation parties. Steve averages 15-20 B&W face only and 10-12 full body/theme drawings per hour.
