Special K'z - Iowa Clowns
Special K'z is one of our Clowns in Sioux City:
Special K'z became interested in being a mime in high school and grew up in a musical family. She graduated from a small Midwestern college with a degree in elementary special education. She learned balloon twisting to add to my bag of "teaching tricks". Special K'z became interesting in learning more of the art form and joined an online forum of clown friends where her current clown character was born. She has been performing as Special K'z since October 2009, and she is an accomplished line twister able to take requests. Special K'z is a high energy, hokey type character providing family oriented clean entertainment. Her clown name comes from the fact that she has educated and cared about individuals with differing special needs her entire life. These individuals varied from students of ages birth to adult and even elderly individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's and other dementia disorders in special care units. Special K'z is comfortable with people of all types and particularly well suited to clown for special needs populations. She is a current practicing preschool special education teacher in the state of Iowa.

Strolling: I have a large variety of visual props available for strolling entertainment including a large foam bang camera, spring back foam pie, and a one of a kind clown riding a rodeo chicken costume. I can also provide strolling musical stylings on my autoharp, stumpf fiddle and other rhythm band type instruments. My authentic antique stumpf fiddle is particularly well suited to old time festivals, and blue grass and polka fests. It provides a unique, fun; visual comedy element and my hokey clown character will lead the whole audience in good old fashioned family fun with offered homemade rhythm instruments and music makers. Balloon line twisting - I am an accomplished line twister able to take requests.

Rates
Strolling: $135/hr with a two hour minimum.*
Birthday Show: $225 for a show for 20 children or less.*
