Shahin G - California Caricature Artists

Shahin became interested in art at a young age. He would use his recess time drawing and creating his cartoon world. After high school he worked for Sunshops at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. He would find himself doodling on paper bags when business was slow until one day a talented caricature artist at the Boardwalk named Frank Urbaniak came up to him and said, “Why don't you do this for a living? I need another artist and I can teach you!”Shahin jumped at the opportunity to earn a living doing what he loved. Shahin then spent the next 10 years working at the Boardwalk as a caricature artist before progressing forward to an independent self sufficient artist. He now has worked at State fairs across the USA, parties, corporate events , weddings and has also attended a 2 international caricature conventions to further develop his artistic skills.
