Santa Louis - Pennsylvania Santa Claus

Santa Louis is one of our Santa Claus in Gettysburg:

Born in Pittsburgh in 1953, Santa Louis had a very happy childhood. He enjoyed school, achieved high grades and while in high school, he went to Art Schools on saturdays and in the summer.

Louis went to Carnegie-Mellon University and received a Bachelor of Fine arts in Painting, in 1976. After that, he went to The Museum of Fine Arts and studied portraiture. Its there that he became a Sketch Artist, and continues to draw 30 years later, in San Francisco, Santa Fe and now Gettysburg. He also re-enacts the Civil War and has been playing Santa for 10 years.

Appearances: Santa Louis is a big, happy elf in a bright cherry red suit, who loves laughing, saying Merry Christmas and HO!HO!HO! He listens to the children carefully and he makes sure to repeat their requests, so that Mom and Dad can hear what they have said. Santa is getting a bit older now so he has to use a cane. It is a very special cane made to resemble a large Candy cane, with holly and bells. Santa Louis LOVES ringing his Christmas bells!
