Sakina fell in love with henna at the age of 10. Born and raised in Tanzania, she began practicing henna as an art and passion on herself, family, and friends. After moving to the United States, she turned her passion into an income. Sakina is now a professional artist, specializing from free hand designs to custom and intricate ones. Her journey has led her to take part in markets, carnivals, and all sorts of events where her art can bring more joy and happiness. She also volunteers in libraries to give presentations on henna art.
