Ruth M - Maine Caricature Artists
A life-long artist, Ruth has been drawing people, her favorite subject, since childhood. She was the kid who always got in trouble for drawing in class when she should have been doing math problems. Ruth began doing caricatures in the 1980’s as a favor for her son’s school. It wasn’t hard, as she’d drawn portraits and cut silhouettes from live sittings since the mid 1970’s. P.S., Her son Jordan started as a caricaturist at age 14, and later became a silhouettist too. Since he competes with mom, good thing he’s in California!

Traditional Caricatures:- B&W Heads Only: 8-9 people per hour
- B&W Body / Gag: 5-6 people per hour
- Color Heads Only: 4-6 people per hour
- Color Body / Gag: 3-4 people per hour
Rates
- $235/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
