Rene, with years of experience in traditional caricatures, dove right into the digital art form immediately after the portable 12-inch Samsung’s Galaxy Pro tablet became available. He has since adapted the new digital tools for events all over the Bay Area and beyond. Rene was hired for the Microsoft unveiling event for the first Surface Pro tablet. At the event, after only minutes of using their tablet, stylus, and the Paint app, he successfully delighted the guests with digital caricatures. The releases of the Apple Pencil and iPad Pro have only further enhanced Rene’s skills as a digital caricaturist as he continues to delight guests at weddings, trade shows, corporate and all types of events.
