Paula has been painting faces of all kinds since 1980. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, she relocated to New York about 14 years ago. She has studied visual and performing arts, along with various artists and art disciplines for over 3 decades. Paula attended Emerson College where she studied Film, Television, Theatre, Photography, and Dance. She considers any face a canvas! Painting, especially faces, is her passion.
Paula was always painting and drawing, and at an early age, transferred painting from the 'page' to the 'face' using makeup to transform how people looked. She was constantly looking for subjects to work on, soliciting family and friends. The possibilities of transformation and how you could change the face with makeup (paint) fascinated her then and still does today.
Paula brings wonderment and joy to any event she is doing and an excitement about what is about to happen and be discovered. She can add to the energy of any group dynamic. Paula can easily interpret and adapt to the requests of anyone sitting in her chair.

Simple Designs: 12-18 faces per hour
Full Face Designs: 8-15 faces per hour
Rates
- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
