Nick N - Indiana Caricature Artists
Where does one start to describe Nick other then to say that he was born very young. His parents say that on that day he had 10 fingers, 10 toes and a #2 pencil sticking out from behind his right ear (picture that delivery) and that he has been drawing ever since. Now, 58 years from the starting line he draws with an enthusiasm that demonstrates decades of experience, laughter and professionalism.
“The problem is I’m not funny, I just draw that way!” Nick says with a sheepish smile. “I love to laugh with folks and I especially get a kick out of seeing their faces when they get that first glimpse of their drawing. I have had the opportunity to draw some cartoon characters that have become fairly mainstream but there’s nothing like live interaction with people.”
His own children (3 girls & 1 boy) are his biggest fans except for his B-E-A-Utiful wife Patty. Over the years he has acquired a few more fans including 4 of the cutest grandkids to grace the face of planet earth. They have watched Nick move from art director of a prestigious sportswear company to a fun loving professional caricature artist of just over 30 years.

Traditional Caricatures:- B&W Heads Only: 12-20 people per hour
- B&W Body / Gag: 12-15 people per hour
- Color Heads Only: 10-12 people per hour
- Color Body / Gag: 5-8 people per hour
Rates
- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
