Melody V - Wisconsin Caricature Artists

Melody is a 58 year old woman living in the north woods of Wisconsin in the small town of Boulder Junction.  She had a chance to change professions when she relocated back to northern Wisconsin 13 years ago. Her little sister has been a professional caricature artist since she was 19 and she taught Melody how to draw caricatures in the style she had learned at Valley Fair.  Melody spent two summers in Wisconsin Dells drawing at Mount Olympus which she considered her own personal "boot camp."

She draws in a portrait style.   She always makes little children cuter (if possible).   She often makes the ladies look just adorable and picks on the guys a bit.  Mostly she finds that people want to look better but she really likes to go a little Mad magazine crazy whenever she can.  She draws at fairs and festivals and has been hired at Coop's Pizza in Hayward to draw every winter for approximately 9 years.  You can find her at the Lake Superior Zoo whenever they have a special event.
