Marc K - Rhode Island Face Painters

Marc grew up in Palo Alto, CA, went to college, created The Puppet Workshop in Providence, RI, and ran it for years. In 2000, he took a class at the local community college in Stage Make-up in order to learn how to paint his puppets better. The professor stated at the beginning of the class that we all would make money doing face-painting. Marc laughed out loud, and yet, the professor was right. Over the years, recreation departments preferred the face painting. So, over the years, Marc has face painted in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. He has taken classes with Olivier Zegers, Mark Reid, the late Brian Wolfe, Jay Baptista, Ezia “Z” Leach, Christina Kerr Davis, and others. He has attended face painting conferences, and is very happy to have joined the Face Painting movement just before the great explosion!
