Lauren D - Connecticut Caricature Artists
Lauren has been drawing caricatures since the ripe age of 16 after she switched to the caricatures for Kaman’s at Kings Dominion body art. Since it began in 2008, her work with Kaman’s has flourished from a summer job into a full-fledged career inside and outside of the theme park. Currently, she is a junior at Virginia Commonwealth University pursuing a degree in Art History. Over half of her adult life has been dedicated to mastering the caricature craft and she is only getting faster and goofier with every sketch.

Drawing Speeds (drawing speeds are an indication of what the artist is capable of and are not guaranteed)
Traditional Caricatures:- B&W Heads Only: 15-20 people per hour
- B&W Body / Gag: 8-12 people per hour
- Color Heads Only: 8-10 people per hour
- Color Body / Gag: 7-9 people per hour
Rates
- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
