Kristina has a BA in Studio Art from Cleveland State University and has been practicing henna art since 1998. She became a professional henna artist in 2003 and has since educated herself in the history and traditions of this ancient art form. Kristina has experience with large scale festivals, baby showers, school functions, private appointments, bridal mehndi and professional photo shoots. She is familiar with traditional as well as modern styled designs.
Kristina’s homemade henna paste contains all natural ingredients including pure henna powder, lemon juice, essential oils and sugar. She mixes her own paste with 100% henna powder, to which she adds lemon juice, some tea tree oil, geranium oil (for scent), and sugar as a binder.
All of her designs are done free hand with cones or with Jacquard bottles, she never uses stencils or transfers. She is proficient in Indian, Middle Eastern, North African as well as contemporary designs.

- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
