Katie H - Arizona Caricature Artists

 When Katie was still in high school, a caricature artist came and gave her art class a demonstration on cartooning and caricaturing.  She instantly became interested in learning more about caricatures and found a near-by company, Kaman's Art Shoppes that contracts caricature artists through various theme parks and applied.  She was hired after an audition and found she had the best job ever!  She loved spending time outside, drawing folks from all over the country and having such a great time interacting with interesting people while drawing funny sketches for them.  Working for Kaman's was an extraordinary experience, as she was able to transfer to so many different parks across the country and eventually transferred out to Sea World San Diego where she worked with extremely talented artists with a passion for caricaturing. Recently, she decided to focus on going back to school in Arizona, but continues to enjoy drawing caricatures for events and parties in the Phoenix Valley area.
