Karen has studied the fine arts in several forms including graphic design, theater backdrops, greeting cards, and more. She has been painting faces since 2003 when an elementary school invited her to volunteer for their carnival. Parents inquired if she could be hired (hey, that rhymes) to paint faces for birthday parties and so the fun began serendipitously!
