Kaniz S - Oregon Henna Tattoo Artists
Kaniz has been doing henna since she was a little girl and professionally since 1998. She is a graduate of the Art Institute of Portland with a BA in apparel design. The majority of the henna work she does is at the Portland Saturday Market, private events and many local festivals like the Oregon Asian Celebration, Turkey Rama in McMinnville and the Newberg Old Fashioned Festival. Her favorite work is pregnant bellies and bridal henna with intricate Indian, Arabic and Moroccan designs in which Kaniz can truly incorporate art and culture from different parts of the world.
The traditional art of henna is a form of blessing for the people that adorn their bodies with it and, thus, is very rewarding when Kaniz knows she has been invited to be a part of your special occasion.

- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
