Julie - Texas Face Painters

Julie was born June 15, 1973 here in Houston, TX. Both parents are artists. Her mom baked and decorated cakes. Her dad played guitar in a band, drew oil paintings, and built model cars with extra interior details, and ships with full backgrounds.
Needless to say, Julie picked up on that and baked and decorated her first cakes at the age of 12. At the age of 14, she started playing drums. By age 18, she was baking and decorating cakes and cookie cakes for customers.
Fast forward to her daughter’s birthday party where she had 24 kids coming and only a bounce house. She knew she couldn’t have all those kids in the bounce house at once. So she decided to try face painting. Bam! She discovered another talent. Now having been a face painter for 20 years, she also is fantastic with glitter tattooing and has recently began the art of Henna Tattooing.

- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
