Josh A - Caricature Artists
Josh lives and works in the Las Vegas area doing caricature art. He has been drawing caricatures since he was a kid but didn’t get serious about it until he was in high school. During that time he became a member of the Hutchinson Art Association in Kansas and later moved to Las Vegas to pursue art as a career. He came to Las Vegas in the early 2000’s after graduating, and he trained with some of the local vender caricaturists from Mandalay Bay and Stratosphere. This is how he got his start performing caricatures professionally. He returned to Kansas to teach summer art courses or caricature, painting, and drawing for two years and then he decided to return to Las Vegas. He has exhibited and sold his work in both galleries and NASCAR memorabilia shops. He has traveled throughout Kansas and Las Vegas performing caricatures at festival events, after proms, private parties, birthdays, casinos, and with traveling carnivals. He has designed logos and company designs for corporations such as Casino Supplies and Services, and Morton Salt. He has also performed caricatures for various charities. Drawing Speeds (drawing speeds are an indication of what the artist is capable of and are not guaranteed)
Traditional Caricatures:- B&W Heads Only: 15-20 people per hour
- B&W Body / Gag: 10-15 people per hour
- Color Heads Only: 10-15 people per hour
- Color Body / Gag: 5-10 people per hour
Rates
- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
