John S is one of our Caricature Artists in Aurora:

John is an accomplished artist/author based in Chicago/Aurora Illinois. He has been doing caricatures for over 15 years at private events. He is also a nationally known illustrator and fine arts painter. He created 52 illustrations for his sci-fi novel BODYSLICK that was published in 2008 by VIBE/Kensington in New York.

In 2013 he created illustrations for Ken Sabanda’s screenplay graphic novel “Hannibal The Great”. His art work has appeared in many magazines, books, newspapers, and television and radio shows. Some of his recent clients are Alzhemer.org, Chick-Fil-A, AT&T, UChicago.lab, Sensient Global Technologies, Nobleenglewood.org, Chicago Premium Outlet, Navy Pier, Taste of Chicago, and Jack & Jill.

John earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1994 in fine art at The Art Institute of Chicago. His paintings have been scene on WGN channel 9 with Dan Roan in Chicago and also on ABC with Jim Rose in Chicago. His paintings are owned by Richard J. Daley of Chicago, The late ‘great’ Walter Payton, Mike Tyson, former Chicago Bull John Salley, and former Chicago Bear Revey Sorey. John is also a USAF (United States Air Force)veteran.
