John L is one of our Magicians in Las Vegas:
John L became involved in magic in a roundabout way. When he was eleven years of age, his older brother Mike bought a Mattel magic set. Mike quickly lost interest, so he gave the set to John. A love affair soon began! Over the years, as John delved deeper into the magical arts, his skills and abilities put him in demand as an entertainer. In 1977, at 21 years old, with help and support of his parents, Al and Marion, he opened a magic shop in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The shop was short lived, but through friendships made at the shop, he met his first wife Betsy. They are still happily married! In 1987 with their 6 month old son James, they opened a new magic shop in West Allis, Wisconsin. The magic shop soon became a gathering spot for many local magic enthusiasts. In 1994, they closed the store to resume a somewhat more normal life. In the years before, during and after their magic shop business, John has been doing magic shows of all types. He’s been performing magic almost his entire life, and he’s going to keep doing it until he gets it right. He looks forward to performing for you!

Strolling: Nothing beats truly amazing magic as an ice breaker for the guests at your event. John will perform for small groups "right under their noses", bringing his magic up close and personal. Whether it's a company picnic or a more formal event (wedding, prom, cocktail hour, etc) your guests will enjoy impossible mysteries done right.
Birthday Show: Fun and laughter are what John's 45 minute Birthday Show is all about. This show includes tons of participation by the kids. Classics of magic are presented in a way to enthrall the children and adults too! Every show includes puppetry and each child is given a coloring book about magic and two pieces of candy. The show is custom designed to be age appropriate.
Stage Show: Need entertainment for a scout Blue and Gold banquet, an adult birthday party or after dinner magic for a corporate event? John has the experience to ensure a great time is had by all. Funny, yet family friendly, best describes John’s sense of comedy. Volunteers from the audience are always treated with respect and have fun getting in on the act! (45 minutes)
Rates
Strolling: $270/hr with a two hour minimum.*
Birthday Show: $250 for a show for 20 children or less.*
Stage Show: $350 for the show description outlined above.*
