In 1987, John was specially selected and trained as a Disneyland caricaturist. While training in film animation he continued experience as a caricaturist at other major theme parks such as Universal Studios Tour, Hollywood and Knott's Berry Farm.

John continues his long standing success as an independent performer, appearing on television, touring with the TLC Channel doing digital caricatures on computer and many top corporate events, motion picture studios, trade shows, conventions, private parties, promotional events and cruise line entertainment.
