Joe H - Maryland Caricature Artists
Joe H is a lifelong artist and art instructor for WSVA (Westminster School of Visual Arts). He and his family have lived here since 1991. Now 55 years old, Joe does freelance artwork from his private studio known as the 'shack', over the garage behind his house. He grew up in Catonsville,MD and attended Woodlawn Sr. High, graduated from the Professional Institute of Commercial Art in Baltimore in 1978. Since graduation he has worked in the Art Department at Lion Bros Co. from 1979 till 1990. He started drawing caricatures in 1990 at carnivals and worked for About Faces Caricatures at White Marsh Mall during the Christmas season in 1994. In addition to teaching art Joe does commissioned work.

Traditional Caricatures:- B&W Heads Only: 15-20 people per hour
- B&W Body / Gag: 10-12 people per hour
- Color Heads Only: 10-12 people per hour
- Color Body / Gag: 6-7 people per hour
Rates
- $135/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
