Janie B - Texas Face Painters

On Halloween in 2012, Janie left work after finding out she had been laid off after 5 years. Trying to figure out how she was going to tell her husband, she received a call asking her to do some face painting for the 1st time at the church carnival. Trying not to ruin the event, she sat down to just have fun. Without realizing, she discovered that after 30 years in the corporate world, she had finally found something that she quickly fell in love with. Many people told her she needed to do this for a living because she was so talented. When the event was over, she really thought "How in the world could I make a living face painting? Is it even a real thing people want on any other day then Halloween?" After further investigating and pursuing the idea she could make this happen, she invested in the proper tools and products. She said, “If I’m gonna do this, I’m gonna do it right”. Now after 6 years, she is an established artist in Face painting, and is well known in the community of fellow artists. Shes ready for the opportunity to paint all ages from 1 to 101, at any type of event. Her favorite part of face painting is how their faces light up when they see themselves in the mirror for the 1st time.
