Gene H - Iowa Caricature Artists
Gene attended the Kansas City Art Institute and then transferred to Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he earned a BFA. His education was interrupted by over four years of active duty in the U.S. Navy. His art included sculptures, serigraphs and paintings, then evolved into cartooning and caricatures after realizing drawing caricatures was a reliable way to make a living.
