Emily B - Pennsylvania Caricature Artists

Emily B is one of our Caricature Artists in Philadelphia:

Emily has been studying and drawing faces since she was a toddler. A self-taught artist, she progressed from walls (her parents had to resort to paneling to cover her masterpieces) to paper, and has since done everything from calligraphy to signs to murals to commissioned pastel portraits. Then one day…she discovered live caricature.

Since 1997, Emily has gleefully caricatured thousands of delighted people at fairs, weddings, corporate events, and all sorts of festivities. She captures a lighthearted, spot-on likeness of her subjects, and averages 8-10 faces per hour in color, and 12-14 in black and white. Her calendar is usually bursting with events all year long. Emily’s drawings make mementos that will be treasured for years after your party!

Emily is now also accomplished in cutting elegant, traditional silhouettes, another likeness-based, historical art performance that is fascinating to watch. A silhouette artist leaves the guests with a different type of treasured keepsake.
