Dustin is a Natural Henna Artist from Portland, Maine. He has been doing henna since 2009. He first gained interest in this art medium when picking up a cheap henna kit when he was a kid. It was one of the kinds you used rubber stencils and smeared the henna all over the design and then pulled the stencil away to reveal your design. It left a poor stain and was not the best henna. He enjoyed using the kit but it didn't spark a huge interest. When he was 22 he picked up a higher quality kit and proceeded to do henna again. He knew that he had developed a passion for this plant and art medium. He grew up doing pottery, working on a mechanical wheel or hand building and firing his designs. Henna sat on the back burner festering waiting to release what is now known to be Sacred Jhari.
He offers custom henna designs, glitter tattoos, zardosi gilding gel, mica body art and much more! He is available for Sangeets, Diwali, Eid celebrations, baby blessing, Bar/Bat Mitvah, grad nights, ladies night out, educational seminars, and corporate events.
