Dick is an award winning magician who has been performing professionally for over 35 years, with performances on three continents and over 30 States in the USA. In addition to performing, he is an author, inventor, teacher and publisher of magic. He is the National President of the Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.), the world's oldest and most prestigious magical organization. He was elected President on the 100th anniversary of Houdini’s first election as President. He started like many others, doing magic as a child, although some would think most of the tricks were con games to swindle the neighborhood boys out of their allowances. When he was about 8, he saw a magician at a school fair, who had him help with the linking rings. On the way home, he drove his dad crazy how that could be possible since he was holding the ring! He was hooked until his teen years, when magic took a back seat to sports and college, then was rekindled after college while he was in the Air Force.

Strolling: Classic magic up-close and personal for several people at a time. He strolls throughout the party where people are gathering in small groups around the room, working entirely with objects from his pockets or common everyday objects borrowed from your guests. He makes each person feel like he is performing just for them! Magic for the adult mind, but clean and fun for all.
Birthday Show: Dick specializes in making children laugh! His magic "wows" the children and at the same time they are laughing at the zany antics. He uses many of the children as helpers where the children have the magic happen in their hands. He wants the helpers to feel special about their participation without being embarrassed. He is a big hit at birthday parties, where the birthday child is the star of the show.
Stage Show: Shows are customized to meet the needs of the client and can be performed at banquets, parties, reunions, social events, church functions, and from intimate gatherings in private homes to large gatherings for business meetings. All the magic is tasteful and refined and done without embarrassing the volunteers.
Rates
Strolling: $185/hr with a two hour minimum.*
Birthday Show: $235 for a show for 20 children or less.*
Stage Show: $400 for the show description outlined above.*
