Dennis B - Caricature Artists

In 2010 Dennis officially began his journey to become a caricaturist, although long before that he’d been drawing since the wee age of 2 years old, and it's been his passion ever since.

Studying illustration and architecture at various colleges and universities around Boston, MA., Dennis knew he wanted to make art a focal point of his life. His foundation began with comic books in doodling his favorite superhero, Spider-Man (who also taught him how to read). He said, “I’ll always doodle that character whenever I’ve down time. As well as forever pitch the importance of comics to kids as a means to learn how to read in a comfortable environment.”

One Craigslist ad in 2010 changed his course where he read of a company looking to add more caricatures to their assortment of artists to travel across the country and entertain groups at colleges, private/corporate events, weddings and more. While the artwork is important, the memory a person experiences sitting in the chair across from the artist is equally important. That few minutes of interaction sometime last far longer than the artwork will. And that’s a key factor to Dennis's approach.

The places he’s drawn… Fenway Park, Gillette Stadium, New York Comic-Con, Boston Comic Con, numerous colleges and universities…it’s a long list with an equally long list of amazing people he’s drawn from behind the easel.

From murals and portraits, to comic books and caricatures his goal as an artist remains the same, to make people smile and laugh with his art.
