Danita C - Maryland Face Painters

Danita is originally from the Washington, DC and Prince George's County, MD area and relocated to Baltimore in 1979 after graduating from Bowie State University with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education. In January of 2001, she retired from Baltimore city School System and committed herself to face painting full time!

She began face painting for Baltimore City Department of Social Services where she performed face painting from 1997-2005 for Social Services Agency events like Foster Care Sibling Camps. Then from 2005-2010 Danita face painted for her new employer,Baltimore City Schools, where she became known as "the Face Painting Lady" because she did so much face painting at school events for elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Beginning in 2008 Danita started doing face painting and body art at such venues as colleges, graduation celebrations, hosptials, company picnics, ommunity events, museums, aboretums, zoos, festivals, daycares, schools and countless birthday parties in MD, DC and Virginia.

She uses quality art supplies and have illustration boards and books to select face painting designs from. Free hand with a brush is the method that she uses for face painting. Danita is also willing to wear a costume related to the theme of your event!
