Daniel H - Minnesota Caricature Artists - About Faces Entertainment

Daniel H - Minnesota Caricature Artists

Daniel is a well-rounded, creative artist living in Northeast Minneapolis, MN. He's a tall chap, standing at 6’4, with a quirky sense of humor. At 16, he entered the caricature world apprenticing under Tom Richmond, and started drawing caricatures at ValleyFair and the Mall of America. He has been drawing caricatures professionally since 2003, but first realized his passion for drawing in first grade. He started out using graphite and airbrush color with Tom but switched to marker and gray scale in 2003 after working with Chris Rommel. In 2017, Daniel switched to art stix for color. He now uses marker and gray scale for black and white drawings and art stix for color. In addition to drawing caricatures, Daniel has a B.F.A in Graphic Design from the University of MN: College of Design. He also works as a Sr. Web Developer, but nothing can replace the joy he gets from drawing. The excitement of a blank paper and a fresh face gets him excited with each new drawing. He loves to capture the likeness and uniqueness each person brings.
