Cynthia M - New Mexico Henna Tattoo Artists

Cynthia was born and raised in Dallas, TX and began selling art drawings and paintings by age 10. At the age of 17, she studied at Parsons school of Design for the summer in New York City and then went on to study Fine Art for 6 years at the University of Texas at Arlington obtaining a BFA. Cynthia loved college!!! Her specialty was 'Pen and Ink', black and white drawings. Her last year of college she took a Silver Smithing Class, and fell into Jewelry, and now has been a Successful Designer for 23 years.

In 2000 when Henna made it to the Art Festivals, Cynthia first picked up a bottle of henna and began painting. When she had finished her drawing she seemed to wake up from a trance, looking down at her art work with a big smile on her face to see the style was traditional Mehendi. She's been in love with Henna ever since, and began painting Henna on the side doing a few art festivals each year.

12 Years later she now lives in New Mexico, and focuses on doing henna at major art festivals, including the State Fair of Texas, and festivals around the Las Cruces, NM area. For Cynthia, henna is a magical journey that she experiences and shares with her customers and is so rewarding for all involved. Cynthia loves to spoil and pamper her customers with beautiful artwork as well as a beautiful experience.
