Court J is one of our Digital Caricature Artists in San Diego:

Court began drawing caricatures live in theme parks and private events in 1996. He has a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of California, San Diego. In addition to his freelance work as a live entertainer and commercial illustrator, he often teaches courses in portraits, caricatures, digital painting and facial anatomy at a private San Diego art school. He is a Master member of the International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA). He was named Caricature Artist of the Year in 2005 and more recently was named Master Caricature Artist of the Year in 2011. Getting into live digital caricatures around 2009 was a natural transition for Court, because of his background in live caricature drawing and digital painting at a professional level.

Digital Caricatures:

B&W Digital Caricatures: 15 people per hour
Color Digital Caricatures: 10 people per hour

Requirements and Equipment:

Output Options: Court includes 4 x 6” glossy prints in a clear plastic sleeve for each guest and will host the digital images so that the guests or client may freely download them after the event. A small web link is written on the bottom of each caricature print.
Provided Equipment: Court uses a tablet PC on a tripod with a direct wired connection to a mobile printer and a 32” LED monitor which has its own five foot tall floor stand. This setup is just about the most streamlined and clean-looking you can achieve, in regards to wires.
Backup Equipment: Court has never had technical difficulties with this setup. But he has a laptop computer and Cintiq drawing tablet if necessary. He also has one backup mobile printer and an additional 24” LED monitor.
Requirements: One power outlet, two chairs, small counter space or table for a mobile printer. Court does not require a table for his tablet PC or LED monitor. Also, Court must be able to set up indoors, or if outdoors, requires heavy shade both above and behind him.
