Checkers - Virginia Clowns

Checkers is one of our Clowns in Radford:

Sara has been clowning around for over 20 years. First, she learned to juggle when she was 12. Since then she has done everything from attending circus camps as a camper and counselor to coaching young clowns, riding a unicycle, balloon sculpting and magic. She especially enjoys clowning around with children. In high school and college, she ran a juggling club and hosted juggling festivals. Sara has been seen at the New York Renaissance Faire as "Jayne the Foole" in 2001. She has worked at the following summer camps: Independent Lake, Future Stars and Pleasantville Y. Sara even taught classes in circus arts at Columbia Grammar School in Manhattan and to Girl Scouts in New Jersey.

She also appeared on, "The Ellen Show," in 2010 showing off her cigar box juggling, Channel 12 Westchester for juggling, and NY1 on a unicycle in 2010 before a Yankees game.

Sara will gladly clown around at any of your events from a communion party to Grandparent's Day or a holiday party. She guarantees to make you laugh.

Strolling: Walk around juggling, balancing and goofiness with multiple tricks for all to watch as Sara passes by.

Birthday Show: This one hour show includes 30 minutes of juggling, magic, dancing, balancing, and audience participation. Following the show, is face painting or balloon twisting (clients choice). Things you will see in the show: apples, clubs, rolla, cigar boxes, possibly unicycle, and of course children helping out. This is for 20 children or less.

Stage Show: 30 minutes of juggling, magic, dancing, balancing, and audience participation. Things you will see in the show: apples, clubs, rolla, cigar boxes, possibly unicycle, and of course audience participation. This show is best for audiences of 100 people or less.
