Carolyn R is one of our Caricature Artists in Salt Lake City:
Carolyn would tag along with her dad to Lagoon where he began drawing caricatures for a living. She would watch him for hours, as he magically turned people into cartoons. She loved seeing them laugh with joy and excitement at the reveal of their caricature. Carolyn was always fascinated. Busy raising 6 children as a single mother, she supplemented her income by freelancing art including medical illustrations, graphics, portraits, and such, but didn’t begin drawing caricatures until her son Alexander got her into it 6 years after he had begun drawing caricatures. She often sees her dad’s influence in the caricatures she draws.

Drawing Speeds (drawing speeds are an indication of what the artist is capable of and are not guaranteed)
Traditional Caricatures:- B&W Heads Only: 18-20 people per hour
- B&W Body / Gag: 16-20 people per hour
- Color Heads Only: 16-18 people per hour
- Color Body / Gag: 14-16 people per hour
Rates
- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
