Bonkers the Clown is an actor, musician and clown who has performed professionally since attending SMU in 1972; from which he earned a BFA in 1976. He has performed in variety shows for Mark Wilson Magic - Official Site in Hollywood, toured throughout the Midwest for a Chicago school assembly booking agency, and traveled nationwide for Paul Osborne Magic & Illusion in Dallas.

From 1988-1991, Bonkers appeared daily on a local children's television show called "Club 27" on Channel 27. For the past 20 years, he's hosted the children's entertainment tent for festival events at Addison and performs for the Adolphus/Children's Medical Center Christmas Parade in downtown Dallas!

Bonkers the Clown has also been named Top Clown by the Dallas Times Herald and is the winner of the Golden Wand Award, Robert Houdin Award, and co-winner of a Bronze Quill for excellence in public relations programs.
