Amie K - Texas Face Painters

Amie loves color, glitter, and paint! She thinks that every child is a superhero (of course, so are their parents!). Amie started painting her own face for Halloween as a teenager and continued painting herself every year for Halloween as she grew up. Once she had kids of her own, she painted their faces at their own parties. After she volunteered to paint faces at the school carnival, she decided it was time to start working with the good stuff, and she never looked back.

Amie has a way of connecting with people of all ages. She knows how to handle squirmy little ones (and helps them get their wiggles out before painting), and asks great questions to help an indecisive child figure out what design they would like. She connects with teenagers (it's true!) and helps them find a design that is cool vs cute. And, as much as she enjoys painting kids faces and see them light up at their transformation, she absolutely loves when grown ups ask to get painted too. So many people forget to play as they get older, so when adults get painted, it takes them back to the fun times of being a kid. And everyone deserves a little time to do that.
