1. Describe the type of entertainment you provide.
I have been serving the Houston metro and surrounding areas as a caricature artist for the past three and a half years.
2. When and how did you get into this business?
I got my start as a caricaturist in 2010, drawing at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It’s always great to see the kids react when I tell them Mickey Mouse used to be my boss, and it’s a wonderful party trick to get those shy kids smiling for their drawing!
3. What is the most memorable event you have ever worked at?
I was in New York, drawing at a party in the Bronx hosted by a group of mothers and daughters. Eventually, a debate on whether old school or new school hip hop was better ensued, which escalated into a dance battle! It was a really fun event to be a part of!
4. What is one thing you’d like everyone to know about you?
One fun fact about me is that, even though I’ve been drawing caricatures professionally for about 7 and a half years, I started drawing long before that. I’ve been drawing since I had the motor skills to hold a pencil, and before I can remember. In fact, the first caricature that I ever drew was at the age of 8, and it was of Madonna!
