Winter is almost over! Now there are even more fun things to look forward to! Of course, About Faces could make all of those occasions even more fun. ‘Tis the season for Easter egg hunts and Easter Bunny visits. About Faces can help make all of these things WAY more entertaining than what you had already been planning. What could be better than having a face painter, or a balloon sculptor at your event to excite the kids even more after they finish that Easter egg hunt. We can send a face painter to paint fun Easter designs, and balloon sculptor to sculpt them their own bunny to take home with them. We may even be able to have the Easter Bunny come, and you can have all three! So what are you waiting for? Availability doesn’t last forever. Call or email us today to get your event planning under way. Believe me, About Faces Entertainment will make it an event you will never forget!
Fun Ideas For Your Easter Event!
No Easter get-together is complete without some fun entertainment for your guests to enjoy! About Faces has you covered there. However, we would never want to leave you hanging with out some fun interactive activities for the whole family! Here are a couple of fun ideas for the whole family to enjoy in preparation for the super fun party you are planning!
Eggshell Mosaics:
Materials
Eggs
Egg dye
Bowls or large cups
Zip-top bags
Markers
Construction paper
Glue
Instructions
If you’re making egg salad sandwiches, hard-boil the eggs, then peel off the shells. If you’d rather use the raw eggs for cooking, simply crack the eggs and wash and dry the shells. Either way, separate the shells into several piles.
Fill the bowls with mixed dye. Color each pile of shells, let them dry, then separate by color into zip-top bags. Crush the shells using a spoon or fist.
Draw a picture on a piece of paper and glue on the colored eggshells mosaic-style, or dispense with the drawing and simply glue on a collage.
Easter Bunny Ears:
Materials
Egg carton
Scissors
Pink crayon
Headband
Glue gun
Instructions
Use scissors to cut out ear shapes from the edges of the egg carton top.
Color the insides of the ears with pink crayon.
Finish by gluing the ears to a headband with the glue gun.
Balloons, balloons, balloons! What can I say about balloons I love balloons, red ones, yellow ones, green ones. I do magic with balloons! I make people laugh with balloons. My best friend is a balloon. When I grow up I want to be a balloon. Excuse me I sound crazy, but I’m wild about balloons. I go by many names, but most commonly Bobby “D” the amazing balloon guy and B.Bow the clown. B.Bow is a lovable guy that I developed over 30 years ago. I studied clowning under some of the most famous clowns in the world; Lou Jacobs, Mark Anthony, Leon McBride, and Steve Smith to name a few. On my journey through clowning, I discovered the art of balloon sculpting. So, I practiced and practiced, and after 30years, I’m still practicing. I can make pretty much anything now. My goal is to change people’s perception of balloons, so they see them as an art form. Most people expect me to make normal balloon stuff. So, when I make elaborate creations, I love the reaction of my audience. With the top-notch balloon work I do, I’m taken more seriously. People are saying “He’s not just cool for kids parties, but I Could have him at my party to!” I’ve been ballooning my way into people’s hearts in the Northern VA, MD, and the Washington DC area for years. Many of my jobs are birthday parties and corporate events. I have been able to work with clients like The Washington Nationals, The Wizards, and been honored to work events at The White House, The Kennedy Center, and Imagination station, and The Discovery Channel. One of the most memorable events I have done was the Special Olympics. Watching the children have fun and seeing their smiling faces was the best part. So, call or email About Faces today and get me out to one of your events. You won’t regret it! Your guests will be talking about their experience for years to come. So let me amaze your guests and bring you a new level of entertainment. Hope to see you soon!

“Everything was great! The company was easy to work with and the artists [airbrush and henna artist: Tiffany D.-FL] were great. The students really enjoyed it.” Kimber T., FL
“Everyone loved the caricatures! Everyone loved her [caricature artist-Erica M., TX] and she did a great job. I would suggest and book her again ANY day! Thank you so much again! It was overall a total hit!” Carrie S., TX
“He [caricature artist-Mike A., NY] arrived 20 minutes prior and was set up ready to go at 5pm. He was GREAT! He had a crowd around him for every picture and got everyone done 5 minutes to 9pm. He was AWESOME!” Stuart E., NY
“Our artist, Bobby D. [Balloon Sculptor, VA, MD, DC], went above and beyond to make our event fun and memorable. He was funny and friendly with guests, and had innovative ideas for balloon creations that party-goers didn’t even realize were possible until they adorned their wrists or heads. His designs were complex and whimsical, and stayed inflated for more than a week after the event. I’ve recommended your company, and in particular, Bobby, to my friends.” Laura V., DC
