Dennis R is one of our Caricature Artists in Kalamazoo:
Dennis has been drawing since the age of 6. He was inspired by superhero comic books, Disney cartoons, and he learned how to draw by tracing the pages from coloring books, and training his eyes to draw what he saw. Dennis enjoys drawing superheroes, celebrities, animals, etc. in the form of caricatures. Dennis took art classes in high school, took some college courses, learning basic anatomy and drawing techniques, but caricatures really attracted his attention. Dennis learned how to draw caricatures by going to theme parks and zoos just to watch the artists there in action. He also studied books and attended trainings. Dennis has been successful with drawing caricatures at live events, entertaining the clients with both his creativity and humor, resulting in amazing illustrations. He been doing events since 2008 and shows no sign of stopping any time soon.
