Originally from India, Swati has lived in the United States for over 15 years. Her practice and perfection of the beautiful henna artwork she offers began when she was just 14 years old. Traditionally, henna art is a part of any and all occasions. The art of henna has been used to adorn women's bodies as a part of social and holiday celebrations since the late Bronze age in the eastern Mediterranean. The name 'henna' refers to temporary body art based on plant dyes. Swati makes her own organic, natural henna paste from imported plants, and then adds quality essential oils to perfect the dye mixture. Her amazing designs include traditional, fancy, African and Moroccan options.
