Dawn's childhood love of art only grew as she did. As a young artist, to help make ends meet, Dawn drew pictures of her hometown of Pittsburgh and manufactured them into note cards and sold them to local stores and friends. Eventually she could be seen peddling her hand-painted clothing, tie dies and home crafted soaps to co-workers and stores.
When Dawn landed a seasonal job teaching art to children at the prestigious Touchstone Center for Arts, part of the job description was to live in a little cottage in the woods in the mountains of south western Pennsylvania, invent her own art classes and teach them! What a dream job! Dawn taught everything from furniture painting to pottery and suddenly the art world was opening up. The exposure to other professional artists teaching their craft revealed a never ending opportunity in art, and opened her mind to new possibilities.
Eventually Dawn began face painting, which eventually led to henna tattoos. Since 2007 she has traveled all over the country doing henna tattoos and face painting at various venues.
Dawn is in the Pittsburgh, PA area from mid May through mid October. She is in the Ingles, Florida area from mid October through mid May.

- $155/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
