Chris is a cartoonist at heart. He began drawing at a very young age. His first love has always been cartooning and caricature. He recalls, "I would frequently visit the library by my home. I would check out as many art books as I could. I have always been my own art teacher and I think that is for the best. Who else cares more about you....than you! I've spent as much time as I could perfecting my craft. As they say, ‘Practice makes perfect.’"
Chris has spent the past five years working professionally as a cartoonist, illustrator, and caricature artist. Frequent visitors to the St. Louis Zoo may have noticed him drawing guests at their caricature stands, where he was the assistant manager. Chris' style of caricature is more flattering than insulting and while your features will be exaggerated, you won't be offended!

Drawing Speeds (drawing speeds are an indication of what the artist is capable of and are not guaranteed)
Traditional Caricatures:- B&W Heads Only: 25 people per hour
- B&W Body / Gag: 15 people per hour
- Color Heads Only: 20 people per hour
- Color Body / Gag: 10 people per hour
Rates
- $135/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
